Dirty sheets, smelt bad on way in, snot smothered on wall by bed, no soap in bathroom upon arrival, carvery not up to standard - chewy meat and slimy gravy. Would advise anyone to go to the nearest premiere in instead as atleast you know your getting something clean.
Good value for money
Rooms were excellent very comfy and spacious. Service in restaurant a bit hit and miss, evening meal was good had the steak deal with a bottle of wine but couldn't trade up as we didn't like what was on offer. Service at breakfast not so good. Had to ask to get table cleared and to take our orders, actual breakfast was good, had no syrup for pancakes on both days.
Stayed here overnite for a wedding. Can't fault it. Clean room and great breakfast choice. Would recommend..
Had a quick overnight here. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The tied pub next door called the Red Squirrel is a good choice for carveries and other pub grub on a budget!
